Jemima Mandemwa was crowned as Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2021 in a press conference held in October 2021 and will represent the country at the virtual coronation ceremony of Miss Earth 2021. She succeeds Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2020 Tinokunda Moyo for the title.
Jemima is a professional model and also the founder of an environmental organization called ‘Let’s Talk Green Zimbabwe’. She is also an apparel entrepreneur and has won several beauty pageants before including Miss Super Globe Africa 2019 subtitle. She also competed in Miss Super Globe 2019 held in the UAE, where she was placed as the first runner-up.
The 21-year-old feels strongly about environmentalism. Her advocacy lies on inclusive education, impacting knowledge towards environmental sustainability. She actively uses her platform to create a channel to spread the knowledge on the importance of wildlife conservation and climate change further highlighting on the significance of environmental care.
