Michèle-Akomo Minkata is Miss Universe Cameroon 2021 as she succeeded Miss Universe Cameroon 2020 Angèle Kossinda for the title. Cameroon debuted at the competition last year.
The 25-year-old is a creative advocate and entrepreneur who holds a degree in geography. The queen currently works in public relations and communications and is fluent in both English and French.
Minkata enjoys spending her free time in a dance or recording studio, singing and grooving to music. She is also passionate about traveling and exploring different cultures. Michèle-Ange collaborated closely with the Smile Train organisation in Cameroon to raise awareness and funding for children born with cleft palates, as well as the Roger Milla foundation to raise awareness and funds for sickle cell anaemia children. She created the Angels & Queens, an academy which aims to help young girls realise their full potential.
