Ámar Pacheco Ibarra was announced as Miss World Ecuador 2020 on 25th May 2020 as the result of online voting.
Amar is 23-years-old and stands 173cm tall and is currently a senior in the music department at the University of Santiago de Guayaquil. She plans to come to America to pursue her passion for singing after graduation. She is the daughter of the singer Silvana Ibarra and the renowned musician Gustavo Pacheco. She speaks English and Spanish and actively helps children with disabilities through Music at her parents' foundation and volunteers at integral arts centres and teaches musical theatre classes. The diva is very kind and humble and wants to work for the kids across the world and has mentioned that the platform will help her to help the children with disabilities under Beauty with A Purpose project which is one of the main reasons why she entered the pageant.
