Namrata Shrestha was crowned Miss World Nepal 2020 at Miss Nepal 2020 held on 5th December 2020. Namrata succeeds Miss Nepal 2019 Anushka Shrestha and will represent Nepal at Miss World 2021.
Namrata hails from Kathmandu. It was her second try at the competition as she first participated in Miss Nepal 2016. Shrestha, a student of sociology and a certified kindergarten teacher. Along with winning the national crown, Namrata also bagged the Miss Confident subtitle and The Kathmandu Post Miss Intellectual subtitle. She will definitely be a strong contender for the international crown.
