Miss Grand International 2021, the 9th edition of the international pageant, was held tonight at the SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok where Vietnamese beauty Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tien created history by becoming the first diva from her country to win the coveted Miss Grand International 2021 crown. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Grand International 2020 Abena Appiah of USA.
Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tiên gave a stellar performance exuding confidence at the finale. The 23-year-old beauty is not new to the pageant world as she represented Vietnam at Miss International 2018 and was highly praised for her performance throughout the competition; however, she was not placed. Fortunately, her experience there worked in her favour this time as she made a historic win for Vietnam.
