Miss World 2019 has officially begun and it is safe to say that this edition boasts of stunning and charming ladies who are going to give fierce competition to each other to win the coveted crown. As the contestants have arrived in London for their stint, this year’s Asia batch is stronger than ever. With Vanessa Ponce de Leon, the reigning Miss World, taking home the crown all the way to Mexico last year, the delegates are definitely going to try to bring the crown back home after a year.
The delegates from India, Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nepal and Vietnam arrived in London just hours ago and it was quite prevalent that they were all set to take the stage by storm this year.
Miss World India 2019 Suman Rao is definitely a strong contender this year with a strong Beauty with a Purpose project. Coming from a small village in Rajasthan herself, she knows the troubles of people in need and with her empathy and grace will definitely win over everyone’s hearts.
Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Marquez Dee also arrived in London looking super confident and talking about her plans to bring the second Miss World crown for her country after Megan Young who won it in 2013. The Filipina beauty definitely has the grace and the intelligence along with her strong personality to win this crown.
Miss World Indonesia 2019 Princess Megonondo is a young contender this year at just 18 years of age. While she lacks the experience in age, she makes up for it with her social awareness and her intelligence. She has been in this industry for far too long to not be considered as a strong competition.
Miss World Malaysia 2019 Alexis SueAnn, a social media influencer, fashion blogger, fitness model, emcee and beauty pageant title holder, is another strong delegate participating this year. A fluent speaker of Mandarin, Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia, Alexis will mesmerise everyone for sure this year.
Miss World Nepal 2019 Anushka Shrestha is coming to the contest with a lot of added pressure from her country after her predecessor’s incredible performance last year. The stunning beauty has everything that a diva needs to win Miss World. An empathetic and graceful beauty queen, Anushka will be another strong competition raising the Asian flag high.
There are other delegates as well from Asia who are in the running to become the next Miss World and have come with strong preparation to win the crown. If Asia takes home the crown this year, it will be a sandwich win for the continent after India won the crown in 2017.
