Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will be the 1st edition of Miss Universe Philippines, under its new organization. The finale was initially scheduled for 3rd May 2020 but due to corona virus scare, the date has now moved to 14th June 2020. Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados will crown her successor at the end of the event finale as the winner will represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2020.
While the fifty one delegates competing for the crown have begun to prepare for their national stint, this year’s batch boasts of stunning beauties with a lot of experience. With Binibining Pilipinas losing the franchise for Miss Universe, there are a few talented young divas who have crossed over from Miss World Philippines to the debut edition of Miss Universe Philippines. Christelle Abello
Christelle Abello was a part of Miss World Philippines 2015 and placed in the Top 13 with her stunning performance. Christelle is now the official representative of Aklan in the national pageant. Christelle is 26 years of age and is an aspiring model from San Diego, CA. She received her B.A. in Communication from California State University San Marcos.
Ivanna Kamil Suficiencia Pacis
Ivanna Kamil Pacis was a part of Miss World Philippines 2016 and was adjudged the second runner-up at the end of the event finale. Ivanna is the official representative of Makati in the national pageant. Ivanna is 24-years-old and graduated with a degree in Broadcast Communications from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She works as a professional model and host as of now.
Sandra Raymundo Lemonon
Sandra Lemonon was a part of Miss World Philippines 2016 and was adjudged the fourth runner-up at the end of the event finale. Sandra is the official representative of Sorsogon in the national pageant. Lemonon was also a part of Binibining Philippinas 2018 but was overrun by her good friend Catriona Gray who won the pageant. Sandra is a model by profession, 25 years of age and stands 175 cm tall.
Trizha Bartolome Ocampo
Trizha Ocampo was a part of Miss World Philippines 2017 but unfortunately remained to win a place in the Top 20. Trizha is the representative of La Union in Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Majored in Mass Communication, Trizha is a 26-years-old graduate from the University of Baguio. She wants to work for underprivileged kids through her journey.
Faye Dominique Deveza
Faye Dominique Deveza was a part of Miss World Philippines 2017 but unfortunately failed to win a place in the Top. Faye is the representative of region of Lucban in Miss Universe Philippines 2020. She completed her studies from University of Santo Tomas and is now all set to win hearts in the finale with her graceful posture and charming smile.
Princess Marquez Laureano
Princess Laureano was a part of Miss World Philippines 2017 but unfortunately failed to win a place in the Top 20. Princess Laureano is the representative of Aurora in the national pageant. Princess Marques Laureano is 21 years of age and is a student of BS Tourism Management at Colegio de San Lorenzo. She is not just the model but also a guitarist and vocalist.
Mari Danica Reynes
Mari Danica Reynes was a part of Miss World Philippines 2018 and with her incredible performance she placed in the Top 16. Mari is the representative of Cagayan Province in Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Danica Reynes is 28 years of age with a height of 167 cm. She is from Angeles City. Danica worked as a cabin crew in Saudi Arabia where she experienced different cultures and religions which made her respect diversity.
Kimberly Hakenson
Kimberly Hakenson was a part of Miss World Philippines 2019 and placed in the Top 12 with her incredible performance. Kimberly is the representative of Cavite in Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Kimberly hails from Silang, Cavite and currently resides in Lapu-Lapu City. She completed her higher education from Infant Jesus Academy Silang, Cavite Philippines and later Studied Business Administration major in Marketing Management at St. Dominic College of Asia.
Tracy Maureen Perez
Tracy Maureen Perez was a part of Miss World Philippines 2019 and placed in the Top 12 with her stunning performance. Tracy is the representative of Cebu city in Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Tracy has been a child who was miraculously born, as she discussed her premature birth, her life with her single mom and everything that she went through as a young adult. She will surely be a strong contender for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 crown.
