What a year it has been for the Philippines with its participation in various beauty pageants! The nation has always sent its best through the years and this year has proved to be very fruitful. The Philippines has managed to bring forth the best of the best, which would benefit the nation as well as the world.
Till date, Philippines has won four Miss Universe crowns, including one this year. It has also won Miss World once in the year 2013, Miss Earth crown four times, the Miss International title 6 times since its commencement and last but not the least, the Miss Supranational title once in the year 2013.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray
Beautiful, popular and the crowd favourite in Miss Universe 2018 was none other than the Filipina delegate Catriona. Upon winning Binibining Pilipinas 2018, the 24-year-old earned the right to the Philippines in Miss Universe 2018 held on 17th December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. Due to her stellar performance, at the conclusion of the show, Catriona took the crown home for her nation upon being crowned by Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters. The 178 cm tall diva is now the fourth ever Filipina to have won the Miss Universe crown and she will surely make her nation proud over the course of her reign.
Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Rodrigues
Katarina was crowned Miss World Philippines 2018 in a grand ceremony where she defeated 39 other contestants for the crown. There was a lot of hope riding over the 26-year-old as she was an experienced delegate and she had been in the modelling and pageant world for a really long time. Unfortunately, Katarina was not able to make a mark during the finale as she remained unplaced. The 168 cm tall beauty worked really hard for her Beauty with a Purpose project and had given her all during the finale, but unfortunately, this year was not for her.
Miss Earth Philippines 2018 Silvia Celeste Cortesi
Celeste was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2018 during the grand finale of the event held on 19th May 2018. She succeeded Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco herself and therefore had a lot of pressure riding up her shoulders. The 20-year-old representative of the Filipina Community of Rome, Italy have a beautiful performance over the course of the finale and was one of the Top 8 finalists at the conclusion of the pageant. The 177 cm tall beauty did not win the crown, but she sure won a lot of heart with her performance.
Miss International Philippines 2018 Maria Ahitsa Manalo
Maria was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2018 at the conclusion of Binibining Pilipinas 2018, which earned the former the right to represent her nation in Miss International 2018 on 9th November 2018 in Tokyo. Maria was expected to make a very concrete mark in the finale and she did just that! The 20-year-old became the 1st runner-up to the Miss International 2018 Marien Velasco. Maria also won the Miss Popularity award during the finale and make her country really proud at the night of the finale.
Miss Grand Philippines 2018 Eva Psyche Patalinjug
Eva was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2018 during the grand finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2018 which earned her the right to represent the Philippines in Miss Grand International 2018. This 23-year-old Filipina beauty was expected to make it big during the finale due to her prior experience in the pageant world, but unfortunately, she remained unplaced during the finale of the prestigious international pageant. This 170 cm tall beauty is a nurse by profession, and even if she didn’t win the pageant, she still won many hearts will her beautiful representation of her country.
Miss Supranational Philippines 2018 Jehza Mae Huelar
Jehza was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2018 during the conclusion of Binibiniing Pilipinas which earned her the right to represent her nation in Miss Supranational 2018 held on 7th December 2018 in Poland. The 23-year-old was adjudged as one of the Top 10 finalists at the conclusion of the international pageant and she was expected to make it big as she was experienced in the pageant world, having participated in Binibining Pilipinas twice before. Jehza truly did her nation proud with her stellar performance and even though she does not have a crown, she sure has a very bright future.
Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2018 Karen Gallman
Karen Gallman was crowned Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2018 during the finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2018 as she represented the Philippines in Miss Intercontinental 2018. The finale of Miss Intercontinental 2018 was held on 26th January 2019 in Manila Philippines where none other than this gorgeous beauty won the international coveted title. She performed with absolute grace and elegance at the pageant and won the first ever title for her country.
