Next finalist of Binibining Pilipinas 2016 is 22 year old Binibini 10 Jehza Mae Huelar. Yes, she was the second runner‐up at the Binibining Pilipinas 2016. But, she knew that she can do better than her 2016 stint. Joining for the second time has made her more mission driven. There is something new and improved in the mind‐set and focus of Jehza. She wants to win a crown first and foremost. But she also plans to use the possible victory to strengthen her platform for the youth in Mindanao and beyond.
Talking about her second try at the Bb Pilipinas pageant, Jehza says, “I believe if it is really my passion, I cannot let this opportunity just pass me by. It’s like sunrise… if I wait too long, I will miss it. And just like sunrise… it will never be the same — I believe it’s worth taking a risk. Who knows what lies ahead.”
