Binibini 14 Sarah Jiregh Cruz Asido competed at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant in the year 2014. This year the Balagtas, Bulacan beauty has returned for her second and last try at the pageant. A proud Thomasian and a Licensed Teacher, Sarah graduated from UST with a Bachelor degree in Secondary Education, major in Social Studies, while doubling it up with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences.
Talking about making it to the Top 40 finalists of Bb Pilipinas 2017, Sarah says, “I am beyond blessed for getting this opportunity again. I have prayed and waited three long years for this. I waited for God’s yes before I decided to join again. Everything really fell into place. During my realization
process, I had injuries in my foot and that almost discouraged me to get back on the pageant track. I was in so much pain but I know that this is just a test of faith and determination on how strong my desires are. The Lord places me in hard situations to see how tough and willing I am to go beyond everything just to fulfill my dream of a crown. This time, I am stronger, wiser, and a determined winner. Yes I am because the Lord is with me and I am so blessed for whatever injuries I had, I am still here.”
