Miss United Continents 2022 was held on last night, i.e. 6th August 2022 at Parque Las Vegas in the city of Portoviejo, Ecuador where Joanna Camelle Mercado of Philippines was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Anairis Cadavid Miss United Continents 2019 from Colombia.
The stunning Filipina beauty brought the second crown home for Philippines. Camelle stands 5 feet and 9 inches tall who is not new to the pageant world as Miss World Philippines 2019 is where she received most appreciation. In fact, she started joining at the age of 16 with school and provincial competitions. She has a degree in Secondary Education and is a teacher by profession. Camelle gave a stellar performance at the international competition.
