18 year old Aliya Mergembayeva is representing Kazakhstan at the Miss World 2016 pageant. Standing tall at 175cm, Aliya is currently a student and speaks Kazakh, Russian and English. Aliya describes herself as a cheerful, active and purposeful person. She has a keen interest in cooking and aspires to open her own restaurant someday. Her ambition is to make a contribution to internal and external tourism in Kazakhstan.
