Toni-Ann Singh, 23-year old beauty from Jamaica, was crowned Miss World 2019 at the finale held in London, England on 14th December 2019 succeeding Vanessa Ponce of Mexico becoming the fourth girl from Jamaica to don the Miss World crown. She also won the talent competition of Miss World. Toni was born in Morant Bay, but immigrated to the United States at the age of nine, settling in Florida. She attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where she graduated with a degree in women's studies and psychology.
