Amandine Petit was crowned Miss Universe France 2021 on 19th December 2020 at Puy du Fou in Les Epesses, Pays de la Loire. She succeeds Miss France 2020 Clémence Botino to represent her country at Miss Universe 2020.
Miss France Organisation announced in a live session on their social media page that, “Amandine Petit will represent France at the next Miss Universe competition which will take place in Hollywood on May 16,2021”, while “Clémence Botino will represent France at the Miss Universe competition next December” i.e. Miss Universe 2021.
Hailing from Bourguébus, Amandine was a student at IAE Caen in a master's in Management of establishments and gerontological structures. Amandine aspires to become director of a health establishment for the elderly such as an independent residence or an EHPAD to support medical research, and more precisely that on Alzheimer's disease. She also added that what she likes about the job is the management part but also the fact that it has a strong social utility. The diva intends to show that the current woman is a strong woman, a woman who can do what she wants to do.
