Cristiana Silva Alves was announced as Miss Universe Portugal 2020 and will be the official representative of Portugal at Miss Universe 2020 stage. The decision was announced on the organization’s official social media account and the decision is an outcome of the fact that the Miss Universe Portugal 2020 pageant couldn’t be held due to the pandemic.
Cristiana is 19-years-old and is studying solicitors. Cristiana describes herself as outgoing, smiling, and as someone who loves to know about other cultures, traditions, and customs. The diva enjoys playing sports and being with family and friends especially outside. She is a young woman who is passionate about life, has a head full of dreams and goals, and whose motto is “Life is a gift that we must enjoy until the last second”.
She advocates about self-care and self-love through her social media account where in one of her posts she has mentioned that “Self-care is about understanding our limitations, about not blaming ourselves and taking some of the world's responsibility off our backs. It is painting the heart with peace, unloading the pain, and taking care of the soul! It's about being best friends with ourselves.”
