Elizaveta Yastremskaya was appointed as Miss Universe Ukraine 2020 as she succeeded Miss Universe Ukraine 2019 Zaporizhia Anastasia Subbota. The announcement was done via Miss Universe Ukraine’s official social media page.
Liza is 27-years-old and has graduated with a degree in Human Marketing Resources and Management and has worked as a successful model. She has studied in the school of philosophy and meditation. She speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English, French, and is working on her German.
The diva is not new to the world of pageantry but was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Universe Ukraine 2019 and due to the pandemic scare in the world, the organization decided to not hold the pageant for Miss Universe Ukraine 2020 and crowned the gorgeous diva as the official representative.
Liza started working as a professional model after graduating from modelling school, she started shooting for magazines, shows and working with designers, advertising, and working on television.
Liza mentioned,“There is a lot of work ahead. Responsibility to the country. New friends and opportunities. And I am looking forward to this new path in my destiny.” She added that she has dreamt of this day when she was a little girl and now when it’s all happening, she feels extremely grateful for the opportunity and would perform her best at the competition. The diva started her own business during the pandemic and is proud of the way it has turned out for her.
