The organization of Miss World Netherlands hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss World Netherlands 2020/2021 on 1st July 2021, where Dilay Willemstein was crowned as the new queen. But in a recent development Lizzy Dobbe replaced her as the new queen.
The 20-year-old Lizzy Dobbe from Den Helder has always wanted to be a role model for people who have been bullied, because she has experienced it herself. She was bullied during her high school years and therefore transferred to another school. She now feels a lot more confident, is training to become a social service provider and runs a beauty salon as a side job. "I was looking for something that would allow me to further develop myself. I am socially involved and really want to change something in the world," she said earlier.
