Beauty from Venezuela, Marianne Pasqualina Puglia Martinez is one of those fortunate divas, who got a chance to represent her country in Miss Earth 2006 that was held on 26th November 2006 at the grounds of the National Museum in Manila, Philippines. With her dedication, she did not let this opportunity go wasted, as she won the prestigious title of Miss Earth – Fire 2006.
Marianne was born to Venezuelan mother and Italian father, in La Victoria, Aragua, Venezuela and is brought up there only. Prior to winning this coveted title, she participated in Miss Earth 2005 as well, where she was placed in Top 10. Next year, she was nominated by Sambil Model Caracas as Miss Earth Venezuela 2006 which gave her the right to appear in Miss Earth 2006 pageant and after winning Miss Earth - Fire 2006, she moved to Italy to pursue her modelling career. She is also the winner of the special award of ‘Best in Swimsuit’ in the contest. Besides reigning in pageantry, she is also an aspired actress and gave her debut in an Italian TV program.
