Jessica Cristina Barboza Schmidt from Venezuela was the official representative of her country in Miss Earth 2009 pageant that held on 22nd November 2009 in Boracay, Philippines. She competed against 79 other delegates from different countries and with all the fortune, she was crowned Miss Earth-Water 2009 (2nd runner-up).
Jessica is a Venezuelan model and a beauty pageant titleholder and is born and brought up in Maracaibo, Zulia, Venezuela She is not a new face in the beauty pageant world, as earlier she appeared for Miss Earth Venezuela 2009 and managed to win the title which made her landed onto Miss Earth 2009 and there, she achieved this victory.
