Miss Grand International 2022, the 10th anniversary edition of Miss Grand International, is scheduled to be held on 25th October 2022 at Sentul International Convention Center in Bogor Regency of West Java province, Indonesia. Nguyen Thúc Thùy Tiên of Vietnam will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
In one week, over 70 women from around the world will arrive in Bali to compete at the pageant. Here are our pre-arrival favourites for the Miss Grand International 2022 crown –
Lisseth Naranjo representing Ecuador
Lisseth Naranjo was adjudged Miss Grand Ecuador previously in 2020 as well but she was later replaced by Sonia Luna. So, it is the second chance for Lisseth to represent her country at Miss Grand International. Lisseth has a strong personality and stunning beauty which makes her a strong contender.
Andina Julie representing Indonesia
Andina Julie was appointed Miss Grand Indonesia 2022 on 31st December 2021. Andina Julie works as a model. Andina is an ordinary woman who comes from a family who works as a farmer. She is 20 years of age and stands 182 cm tall. With her stunning beauty, hard work and determination, Andina will surely be a strong contender for the international crown as the host delegate.
Laysha Salazar representing Mexico
Laysha Salazar was elected Miss Grand Mexico 2022 in a special ceremony held on 25th August 2022 at the Victoria Hall of the Los Lagos Country Club in Hermosillo. The 19-year-old Laysha Salazar hails from the city of Hermosillo, in the center of the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. She has mesmerizing eyes and a tall frame. Laysha is definitely ready to take on the international competition.
Roberta Tamondong representing Philippines
Roberta Tamondong was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2022 at the finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2022 held on 31st July 2022 at Smart Araneta Coliseum. Roberta’s performance in various national and international pageants is proof that she is ready to take on Miss Grand International competition.
Engfa Waraha representing Thailand
Engfa Waraha was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2022 at the finale held on 30th April 2022 at Show DC Hall in Bangkok. She is 26 years of age and stands at 170 cm tall. Waraha boasts of a combination of talent, beauty and grace, which makes her a strong delegate for Thailand at the international platform.
Luiseth Materán representing Venezuela
Luiseth Materán is a Venezuelan actress, journalist, TV host, model and beauty queen. She was born in Los Teques, Miranda. Luiseth is 26 years of age and stands 178 cm tall. With a strong pageantry experience, Luiseth comes as another strong contender for the crown.
Sofia Mayers representing United Kingdom
Sofiya Mayers is currently preparing to represent UK at Miss Grand International 2022. Sofiya Mayers studied Art at University for the Creative Arts – UCA. She also studied Fashion & Design at UCA Library & Student Services Rochester. Sofiya is the marketing and sales executive at Ecosan Services. The stunning beauty boasts of charming personality and strong oratory skills.
Oxana Rivera representing Puerto Rico
Oxana Rivera, aged 27, was born in Russia and arrived in Puerto Rico with her twin brother when she was barely 13 years old after being adopted by a Puerto Rican couple. She has consistently proven to be a strong choice to represent Puerto Rico internationally. She also speaks Spanish, English, and Russian fluently.
Kanisha Sluis representing Curacao
Kanisha Sluis is 26 years of age and is currently a Speech Therapy student. Not new to the pageant world, Kanisha is former Miss Universe Curaçao 2015. She competed at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant where she made it to the Top 10 and placed 8th overall. Kanisha is another strong contender for the Miss Grand International crown.
