The splendid finale of Miss World Vietnam 2016 concluded with the crowning of Truong Thi Dieu Ngoc as the winner. Truong Thi Dieu Ngoc will now represent Vietnam at the Miss World 2016 pageant. At the same event, Pham Ngoc Phuong Linh was crowned Miss International Vietnam 2016. Pham will now represent Vietnam at the Miss World 2016 pageant. Huynh Thi Yen Nhi was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2016.
Miss World Vietnam 2016, known locally as Hoa Khoi Ao Dai Viet Nam – Duong Toi Vuong Mien Hoa Hau 2016 started as a reality show where every week a contestant was eliminated. By the end, ten finalists remained who stepped into the finale circle. However, Nguyen Thi Thanh Khoa’s surprise exit from the pageant left nine finalists competing for the coveted crown of Miss World Vietnam 2016.

The nine finalists competed through two Preliminary Rounds – Evening Gown and Swimsuit. Based on the two rounds, the Top 5 finalists for the night were announced. The Top 5 finalists of Miss World Vietnam 2016 were –

The Top 5 further went through the Question and Answer round, which finally led to the announcement of the winner. In addition to the title and the crown, Truong Thi Dieu Ngoc earned a total prize of VND1.1 billion (US$52,000 approx), including VND100 million in cash.
Huynh Thi Yen Nhi received 30 million cash and will represent Vietnam at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant.
The jury for the finale included Creative Director Henri Hubert, supermodel Ha Anh, actor Chi Bao, actress Truong Ngoc Anh, Director Le Hoang. Do you think Truong Thi Dieu Ngoc has what it takes to be the next Miss World?
