Binibini No. 35 Micca Rosal is representing Agoncillo Batangas at the competition and her national competition is Mary Love and is designed by Chico Estiva.
Micca describes that the costume was made to pay tribute to the Mother Mary who has been rock amidst the recent taal volcano eruption. “We chose to wear something that will signify the strength and hope of all Batanguenos especially people of Agoncillo who was greatly affected by the recent calamity. I carry with me the Holy Rosary same with what most of the families have carried during the afternoon of 12 January . It was our weapon, our shield and our rock,” she explained. The colour of the costume was chosen as red as a manifestation of the burning desire of all Batanguenos to rise from the ashes.
