Julia Van Steenberghe of Old Town was crowned Miss Maine USA 2020 on 10thNovember 2019 in South Portland. She will be representing the State of Maine at Miss USA 2020 competition during the spring of 2020. She succeeds Lexi Elston Miss Maine USA 2019 of Windham. Julia is 21 years old and is a Presidential Scholar at the University of Maine. The model is double major in elementary education and child development and family relationships. She was a part of the UMaine Cheerleading team her first and second year. She was prompted by her coach to compete for the pageants.
