Miss Vermont USA 2020 hosted its coronation night on 11th November 2019 where Shannah Weller was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Vermont in Miss USA 2020. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Vermont USA 2019 Bethany Garrow.
Shannah is of multiracial heritage (African American, Native American, and white) and became the 7th woman of known black ancestry to join the Miss USA 2020 class and the Miss USA 2020 batch of delegates isn't halfway done yet. Shannah is the daughter of youth pastors who was born and raised in Vermont in a ministry and outreach environment. The 23-year-old queen works for Collins Aerospace, as an Import Specialist in their International Trade Compliance department.
