Miss Earth Titleholders from 2001 to 2010

Introduced in the year 2001, Miss Earth is an annual beauty contest that crowns a queen who is an amalgamation of beauty with brains and has the potential of being the spokesperson for the conservation of environment. The competition is supported by the United Nations Environment Programme and is one of the big four prestigious International beauty pageants.

The winners dedicate their one-year reign to promote specific projects and address the isolated, prominent, and crucial environmental issues in schools, public gatherings, media guesting. Since it is an international title, it does not limit the boundaries for the beauty queens and hence they travel across the world to spread awareness by street campaigns, coastal clean ups, speaking engagements, shopping mall tours, media guesting, environmental fairs, storytelling programs to children, eco-fashion shows, and other environmental activities.

The crown demands the contestants to be perfect in terms of beauty, form, figure, poise, and attitude and the one who excels in all these qualities is sure of taking home the crown with pride and honor. Over the 18 years of its commencement, the Miss Earth runway and the audience have witnessed the grace of gorgeous beauties who boast their excellence on the international stage.

The ten stunning beauties who won the crown of Miss Earth through the years 2001-2010 are Miss Earth 2001 Catharina Brink from Ecuador, Miss Earth 2002 Winfred Adah Omwakwe from Kenya, Miss Earth 2003 Dania Patricia Prince Méndez Honduras, Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles de Almeida-Estrada from Brazil, Miss Earth 2005 Alexandra Braun from Venezuela, Miss Earth 2006 Hil Yesenia Hernández from Chile, Miss Earth 2007 Jessica Trisko from Canada, Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry from Philippines, Miss Earth 2009 Larissa Ramos from Brazil, Miss Earth 2010 Nicole Faria from India.
