Karla Paula Ginteroy Henry better called Karla Henry was 22 years old when she represented Philippines in Miss Earth 2008. Karla, when vied for the crown of Miss Earth 2008, wasn’t new to pageantry as she made her debut with vying in Miss Cebu 2007 which concluded her as the second runner up for the event. She then participated in Binibining Pilipinas 2008 but unfortunately wasn’t placed. Following in her journey, she competed for and won the crown of Miss Philippines Earth 2008 thereby gaining the opportunity to represent Philippines in Miss Earth 2008 where she was crowned at the end of the competition. The 174 cm tall beauty holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and during her reign as Miss Earth 2008, she went around the public schools in Philippines to educate the younger ones about the environment and the need for its conservation. Karla has been a host in various beauty pageants of Philippines, Miss Earth Philippines 2013, Miss Earth Philippines 2014, Miss Earth Philippines 2019, to name a few. With her excellence, eloquence, and experience, the diva gained huge appreciation from the audience and became one of their favorite contestants which eventually led to her victory in the end.
