Catie Shows was appointed Miss Earth South Carolina 2020 as she became the official representative of South Carolina in Miss Earth USA 2020. Her long-term goal is to start her own sustainable apparel company that is manufactured in the USA and be recognized nationally for her efforts towards a greener wardrobe. She has raised $3,000 for Children’s Miracle Network and has been an Assistant Coach for Girls on the Run Coastal Georgia for two years. She was also named International Young Global Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010 both for the business plan and going green initiative.
