Miss Universe Myanmar 2020, the 8th edition of the pageant, was held on 30th December 2020 at Novotel Max Hotel, Yangon where Thuzar Wint Lwin of Hakha was crowned the new queen. She succeeds Miss Universe Myanmar 2019 Swe Zin Htet and will now represent Myanmar in Miss Universe 2020.
Hailing from Hakha, Thuzar Wint Lwin or popularly known as Candy Thuzar is 22-years-old and stands 170 cm tall. She is a final year student in English from East Yangon University. She is an advocate of self-love and self-acceptance and would like to use the platform to advocate about the same. She is considered as one of the strongest contenders for the title and believes that with hard work and determination, she’ll be able to impress everyone and make the people of Myanmar proud by winning the title.
