Angélique Sanson was crowned in October 2019 at Hennessy Park Hotel in Ébène as she succeeded Miss Mauritius 2019 Urvashi Gooriah to the title.
A resident of Curepipe, the 27-year-old Angelique is an administrative manager. She wants to devote herself to raising awareness about endometriosis, a painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus, the endometrium, grows outside your uterus.
Angélique holds a degree in Management and Economics and enjoys kite surfing, hiking and dancing. Angelique was captain of the cheer leading squad at her University and is also fluent in French, English and Mauritian Creole.
