Elizabeth Bagaya was announced as Miss World Uganda 2021 by the Miss Uganda organization as she succeeded Miss World Uganda 2019 Oliver Nakakande for the title.
The 2020 edition of the Miss World Uganda pageant was cancelled due to the covid-19 virus. Elizabeth is a makeup artist by profession and holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. The 26-year-old also runs ‘Bagaya Elizabeth Foundation’, an organization that provides financial aid and mental support to children at Butabika Hospital.
She stands 169 cm tall and can fluently speak four languages, namely, Luganda, English, Rutooro and Ruyankol. Elizabeth wishes to own her own Make-up studio someday. Her favourite book is ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho.
