Sade´ Greenwood was crowned as the new Miss World Sri Lanka 2021 in a ceremony held not long ago. The diva succeeded the reigning queen Dewmini Thathsarani to the title.
The 19-year-old student and model is a social ambassador for ‘The Pearl Protectors’, an organization which strives to protect and create awareness about marine environment. Sade is an avid reader and hails from Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Of creative inclination, she loves to spend her time singing and writing poetry. The Asian International School alumni takes to acting as well and can speak fluent English and is familiar with Japanese as well. She also participated in an animal rights silent protest in order to promote and ensure animal welfare in her country.
