The 21st edition of Miss Nicaragua was held on 14th August 2021 at the Holiday Inn Managua - Convention Center in Managua, where Allison Wassmer of Managua was crowned as Miss Nicaragua 2021. Wassmer succeeded Miss Nicaragua 2020 Ana Marcelo of Estelí for the title.
26 years-old Allison Wassmer started working at the young age of 16, owns a business and has a degree in graphic design from the Universidad Centroamericana, Managua. She is an expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. In 2015, she joined Joyas Esther in Managua as a community manager. She takes keen interest in dance, ballet, jazz, contemporary music, and belly dance and also loves painting and modelling.
