A 20-year-old- model, and standing tall at 5 feet 8 inches, Silvia Celeste Cortesi was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2018 on 19th May 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines. Silvia was representing Fil-Comm of Rome, Italy at the Miss Philippines Earth 2018 pageant.
Her advocacy is about trees in Italy because she believes we should protect our urban fragile forests, as trees are life. And the perfect example, according to her, is in Italy, for the existence of a law that protects monumental trees.
