The grand finale of Miss Tourism Worldwide 2018 was held on 9th September 2018 in Indonesia. The event saw the crowning of another Filipina beauty, Zara Carbonell. She is a model, host and writer by profession and is the daughter of actor Cris Villanueva. This is a very special win for Zara because she is the first recipient of the title of Miss Tourism Worldwide.
Zara is 25 years of age and is now the official ambassador of tourism for all the countries across the globe, as Miss Tourism Worldwide promotes “Tourism and Cultural Exchange to the World”. Zara is no stranger to the pageant world as she competed in Miss Earth 2011, BinibiningUnibersidad 2012 in the past. She has also won the titles of Miss Teenager Universe-Philippines and World University-Philippines. More than that, Zara was a contestant in Miss World Philippines 2017 where she was crowned the second runner-up.
