Deshauna Barber is an American beauty, who represented USA in Miss Universe 2016, where with the grace of her brilliance she secured her position in Top 9.
Deshauna went to Virginia State University and obtained a degree in Business Management. Prior to becoming Miss USA, Barber was commissioned as a quartermaster officer and logistics commander in the U.S. Army Reserve as a captain, and worked as an IT analyst for the United States Department of Commerce. She is graduated with a master’s degree in Management Information Systems and Services from the reputed University of Maryland University College and is a member of the Pershing Angels and Sigma Gamma Rho sorority. Besides her academics, she is an inspiring soul for others as she is a motivational speaker, and captain in the United States Army Reserve. She commenced her career in beauty world from Miss USA 2016 where she won the coveted title, which made her represent her country in Miss Universe 2016 and got placed in Top 9.
