Sarah had always been a good performer in her academics and is holding up two degrees from Texas Christian University in child development and strategic communication, with a minor in business. Also, Sarah worked as a certified child life specialist prior to becoming Miss USA. Sarah is a hard-working and motivational soul since she was 10 years old as she commenced her career at the age of 10. In 2012, she competed in Miss Teen USA 2012, where unfortunately she was unplaced. But it did not demotivate her, as in 2018 she competes in the major Miss Nebraska USA 2018 which gave her the right to represent in Miss USA 2018, where she won the coveted title and then Represented the nation in Miss Universe 2018 and made a notable mark by securing her position in Top 20.
