Miss International 1975 held its grand finale on 3rd November 1975 in Motobu, Japan. The conclusion of the event saw the crowning of Lidija Manić as the new queen. She was 22 years of age and defeated 46 other candidates from all over the world to claim the crown. Lidija was the first Yugoslavian woman to win an international title. She also participated in Miss Universe 1975. Before competing in both the titles, she was the winner of Miss Yugoslavia in the year 1975, which earned her the right to represent her nation in both the beauty pageants.
