Ché Amor Greenidge was crowned Miss World Barbados 2019 during the finals held on 31st August 2019, at the Bajan Helipad. The 25-year-old stunner has earned the right to represent the eastern Caribbean island at the 2019 Miss World finals in December in London. Greenidge has launched a project called “End The Silence”. She desires to empower and represent the youth, particularly the deaf community which led her to learn American Sign Language. She previously competed in Miss Universe Barbados in 2017, but met an accident two weeks before the finale leaving her with a broken foot.
