Toni Ann Singh was crowned Miss World Jamaica 2019 on 21st September 2019 at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in Kingston. She became the official delegate of Jamaica at Miss World 2019. She succeeded and was crowned by Miss World Jamaica 2018 Kadijah Robinson. At the finale, she not only won the competition but also bagged the Best Personality and Most Photogenic special awards. Toni-Ann-Singh is 23 years of age and a graduate of Psychology and Women Studies. Toni is very close to her family as she gets onto explain that she is basically the glue of the family and she is very blessed. Talking about her “Beauty with a Purpose” project, Toni mentioned that it is related to realizing the benefit of family and having all these strong women come around you and help you grow as a person and break the stereotypes. Just like strong women Toni had in her life, she wants to be role model for the young women. She is working with the Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation and the truth of descendant of two women who had children in their teenage year. With the foundation, Toni works for providing educational opportunities for the women, fund them as they want to equip, empower and engage them. The foundation and Toni talk about mental health with the woman and prepare them for the future. They are working to build up a skill center for the women.
