Rachel Peters is a Filipino-British who represented her country in Miss Universe 2017 pageant where she was placed under the Top 10. Peters commenced her pageantry stint when she competed at Miss World Philippines 2014 where she placed as the 4th Runner-Up. In Miss Universe 2017, she succeeded outgoing Miss Universe Philippines 2016, Maxine Medina.
Peters is half Filipino and half British as her father is British while her mother is a Filipino was graduated from the British International School, Phuket in Thailand with an International Baccalaureate degree, and obtained her bachelor's degree in business, tourism, and events from La Trobe University. Besides her academics, she is a Filipino-British beauty who is an aspired model and a queen as well.
