Catriona Gray is a Filipino-Australian beauty, who made history as she represented her country Philippines in Miss Universe 2018 that held on 17th December 2018 at IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. She made the Filipinos proud as she brought the crown to the country for the fourth time.
Catriona is not a new face in the pageants world as earlier she participated in Miss World Philippines 2016 and won the title which made her land onto Miss World 2016 where she ended up securing her rank in Top 6. Thereafter, she appeared in Binibining Pilipinas 2018 and by the grace of her talent, she received the crown, which made her obtaining the crown of Miss Universe 2018 as well. She is born to a Scottish father and a Filipino mother. Talking about her academics, she received a master's certificate in music theory from the Berklee College of Music. In addition, she obtained a certificate in outdoor recreation and a black belt in Choi Kwang-Do martial arts. Further, Gray was a lead singer of her school's jazz band and then she also starred in local productions of Miss Saigon.
