Michelle Calderón was crowned as Miss World Guatemala 2021 on 15th September 2021 as she succeeded Miss World Guatemala 2020 Hillary Mendoza Gamez for the title.
Michelle is 20-years-old and has one of the most relevant GPA's from the Legal and Social Sciences Faculty at Rafael Landivar University. She is a volleyball player, ballet dancer and currently preparing to compete in the swimming arena. She has built a project related to the Textile Export Industry of Guatemala with the one she has generated secure jobs for more than 90 single mothers since 2018.
Michelle Calderón speaks two languages, is a leader of charitable causes, and has an enormous desire to reveal the project for which she has worked in the last three years of her life together with her father. Sharing her aspirations, Calderon said, “I dream of being able to be a voice for the neediest mothers, I dream of being able to guarantee a stable source of employment and education for the Guatemalan families that need it most.”
