The organization of Miss World Cayman Islands hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss World Cayman Islands 2021 on 29th May 2021 at The Harquail Theatre, Harquail Drive, where Rashana Hydes was crowned as Miss World Cayman Islands 2021. She succeeded Miss World Cayman Islands 2019, Jaci Patrick, for the title.
Hailing from West Bay, Rashana is 25-years-old and is a compliance and treasury assistant with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management degree from the University of Central Florida. She received her associate's degree in Hospitality Management at the University College of the Cayman Islands, graduating with honors.
The diva takes a keen interest in academic pursuits and describes herself as ambitious, fair-minded, artistic, and passionate about various forms of creative expression. She spends her free time practicing makeup skills, drawing, writing, dancing, and honing her calligraphy skills.
Rashana aspires to be a leader in the tourism industry of the Cayman Islands to promote an environmentally friendly, sustainable approach to the islands’ long-term economic growth.
