Tyler Theophane was crowned Miss World Saint Lucia 2021 on 23rd May 2021 at Sandals Halcyon Mirage Lounge.
23-year-old Tyler hails from Caffeiere in Choiseul and is a youth activist. She is currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies and works as a senior supervisor. The diva stands 165 cm tall and is fluent in English and Saint Lucien Creole.
Tyler aspires to become a marine biologist and reduce the impact if climate change on her Island. She has three pet dogs and her personal motto is,’ ‘Trying and failing is better than failing to try.’
Talking about her purpose, Tyler says, “I have a great interest in assisting the youth, the underprivileged youth and also assisting them in terms of finding recreational activities and providing them with educational support.” On the lead up to her participation in Miss World 2021, Tyler is documenting her journey in her weekly radio show “Talk with Tyler” on the Wave radio station.
