Miss Suomi 2021 : Info

Miss Suomi 2021, the 90th edition of Miss Suomi, was held on 18th September 2021 at the AlfaTV, Kerava, Uusimaa where Essi Unkuri was crowned Miss Universe Finland 2021 and became the official representative of Finland at Miss Universe 2021. She succeeds Miss Suomi/Miss Universe Finland 2020 Viivi Altonen.

Also at the finale, Emilia Lepomäki was crowned Miss World Finland 2021 as she became the official representative of Finland at Miss World 2021. She succeeds Miss World Finland 2019 Dana Mononen. Emmi Suuronen and Sonja Länsivuori were adjudged first and second runners-up respectively. Eveliina Tikka won the People’s Choice Award at the finale.

On 12th May 2021, Miss Suomi 2021 finalists were introduced at The Folks Hotel Konepaja in Helsinki, Finland. This year’s batch boasts of previous contestants of the Finnish national beauty pageant. For the 90th edition of Miss Suomi, the age requirement was adjusted from 18-26 to 20-27.

Riikka Uusitalo (previously Miss Suomi 2019 second runner-up)

Essi Unkuri (previously Miss Suomi 2017 Top 10)

Eveliina Tikka (previously Miss Suomi 2017 Top 20)

Hanna Ojaniemi (previously Miss Suomi 2018 Top 20)

Emmi Suuronen (previously Miss Suomi 2019 Top 10)

Jasmine Järvinen (previously Miss Suomi 2017 Top 10)

Emilia Lepomäki (previously Miss Suomi 2018 Top 10)

Miss Universe Finland 2020 Viivi Altonen represented Finland at Miss Universe 2020 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 21. Finland holds two Miss Universe crowns which were won in 1952 and 1975.
