Miss Grand Nicaragua organization hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss Grand Nicaragua 2021 on 8th August 2021 at the Theater Municipal José de la Cruz Mena, Nicaragua, where Epifanía Jocabed Solís was crowned as the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Grand Nicaragua 2020, Teresa Moreno and will represent Nicaragua at Miss Grand International 2021.

Magdalena Jarquin, Kriz Chang and Mayela Chamorro were adjudged first, second and third runners-up respectively. At the finale, Maycrin Jaenz was also crowned Miss Grand Nicaragua 2022 and will represent Nicaragua at Miss Grand International 2022. With her appointment, Nicaragua becomes the first country to crown its representative for Miss Grand International 2022.

The official Press Presentation of Miss Grand Nicaragua 2021 was held on 27th July 2021 at José De La Cruz Mena Municipal Theater, León where the contestants were presented to the media for the first time.

Teresa Moreno represented Nicaragua at Miss Grand International 2020 on 27th March 2021 at Show DC Hall in Bangkok. She was appreciated for her performance throughout the competition but unfortunately couldn’t make it to the top 20. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Grand International.
