Miss Nicaragua 2021, the 21st edition of Miss Nicaragua, was held on Saturday, 14th August 2021 where eight stunning finalists competed for the national crown. At the end of the event finale, Allison Wassmer of Managua was crowned as Miss Nicaragua 2021 by Miss Nicaragua 2020 Ana Marcelo of Estelí.

The finale was broadcasted live on VosTV. Throughout the competition, the candidates were assisted in classes on runway speaking and etiquette. Glennys Medina Segura of Rivas and Zulema Bravo of Acoyapa were adjudged first and second runners-up respectively.

Miss Nicaragua 2020 Ana Marcelo represented Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2020 where she placed in the Top 21 with her stellar performance.

Before Ana, Beatriz Lacayo Miss Nicaragua 1977 represented her country in Miss Universe 1977 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where she placed in the Top 12. Three decades later, Xiomara Blandino Miss Nicaragua 2007 represented her country at Miss Universe where she placed in the Top 10. In 2013, Nastassja Bolivar Miss Nicaragua 2013 represented her country at Miss Universe where she placed in Top 16. Nicaragua is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe.
