Aakriti Sachdev, 22, is a Manufacturing Engineering student. She aspires to bring about a revolution in the aerospace manufacturing industry. In this highly fast pace and yet very meticulous industry, she wants to overcome the shortcomings existing in this field and develop a culture of root cause analysis of problems and promote higher focus on quality.
Her environmental advocacy includes, “For my current project in Rolls Royce I am working towards developing a complex digital system that will eliminate the need for printed reports. My whole project is based on the essence of saving paper. I have the same outlook towards the environment in general, to prevent unnecessary wastage and effectively improve waste management. I would like to work towards sustainability and promoting human activities to function in such a way that don't hamper nature”.
