Next in line is 24 years old beautiful Chum Darang, who hails from Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. Currently a student, Chum wants to be an Entrepreneur, framing a paradigm of women empowerment.
Her environmental advocacy includes, “Sustainability, if we stand united and firm in this ground, supporting the environment, we can change the deteriorating state of the ozone, pollution, natural disasters as well. But for that we will have to change some of our daily-cum-silly practices, cutting down the use of paper and opt for e-tickets instead, ban plastic, recycle being most important. Lessen the use of private vehicles. On the other hand, what I personally would die to do is, fix a date, gather the mass, exchange talks & ideas about aiding environment and then, conclude the assemblage with planting saplings, lots of them”.
