Another contestant for Miss Earth India 2016 is 24 years old Shaan. Hailing from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Shaan is a Social Worker and Film Maker. She aspires to travel the world and learn about the reforms in education and environment and use the power of the media to influence positive change in these areas.
Her environmental advocacy says, “In the past, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with organizations like WWF India, Sanctuary Asia and Prayatna which have made me learn about the different issues our environment faces today and I have continuously worked to play my part by making greener choices on a daily basis.”
